The father of murdered school teacher Stephanie Scott has died in a tragic accident at a farm in Canowindra in the central west of NSW.
It is understood Robert Scott died after being hit by a falling tree.

Paramedics were call to a farm in Namami Road about midday on Tuesday following reports Mr Scott had died.
Police said initial inquires suggested Mr Scott was hit by a falling tree as he cleared his property.
His body was found on Tuesday morning.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
