A search will continue on Sunday for a man who disappeared while swimming at a popular campground on the South Coast of NSW.
Emergency services were called to a camping ground at Coolendel, west of Nowra, at about 3pm on Saturday following reports a 23-year-old man had gone missing while swimming in the Shoalhaven River.
The South Coast Register reported that a large number of people were looking for the man before help arrived.Police joined other emergency services in an extensive search, but it was suspended at about 8pm. They will resume early tomorrow.
Last year, 38-year-old Svaanik Kumar drowned at Coolendel while trying to rescue one of his children.
