More than two dozen people have been assessed for smoke inhalation after a nursing home caught on fire in Sydney's west.
Emergency services were called to the nursing home on Old Prospect Road in Greystanes just after 5.40pm when the building filled with smoke.
The fire was traced to the laundry and is thought to have started in a washing machine.
It was quickly contained by firefighters.

Ambulances and dozens of paramedics responded to the scene.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said 26 patients were being assessed.
All patients were being treated at the scene and none were expected to be transported to hospital.
