A Sydney drug dealer who gunned down a man in an execution-style killing in front of his fiancee has been jailed for at least 24 years.
A jury rejected Daniel Haile's claim that he acted in self-defence when he killed Raymond Pasnin outside his mother's home at Pendle Hill in western Sydney shortly before midnight on October 30, 2013.
In sentencing the "completely amoral" 29-year-old in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, Justice Robert Shallcross Hulme said a payment of $4000 may have been part of the motive.
