Sydney: A backyard family fight has left one man in hospital and another charged with assault.
Police say the two men, 27 and 30, began to fight in the backyard of a Bonnyrigg home on shortly after midnight on Sunday.
The younger man collapsed and was taken to hospital in a critical condition after the older man allegedly bashed him with a rock.
Police have charged the 30-year-old with recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm and he will appear at Fairfield Local Court on Monday.
