Police are raiding homes in Sydney's south-west as part of an investigation into allegations of money laundering and dealing in the proceeds of crime.
Search warrants have been executed in the Bankstown area by members of the Australian Federal Police and NSW Police Force with the assistance of the Australian Border Force.
A NSW police spokeswoman said the investigation relates to "allegations of money laundering and dealing in the proceeds of crime".
"This activity does not relate to any current or impending threat to the safety of the Australian community," the spokeswoman said.
"As this investigation is ongoing further details will be provided at an appropriate time."
