A driver stuck his arm out of a ute and fired shots into a passing car at close range in a drive-by shooting in Sydney's south last month, video footage shows.
Police have released dramatic CCTV footage of the daylight shooting at Mascot last month, as they renewed calls for anyone with information about the mystery attack to come forward.
Officers were called to Jackson Drive, just off Kent Road, after reports of a shooting about 6pm on January 31.
Witnesses told police they believed they saw shots fired from a white Ford Ranger Utility towards a Mazda sedan.
Those reports matched video footage of the shooting, released on Monday, which shows the white sedan turn into the street and slow to a stop outside the Meriton Suites Mascot Central hotel.
