A Comanchero bikie gang associate has been charged after a driver was threatened with a knife before being punched in the face in a road rage attack in Sydney’s south last year, police say.
Officers from an anti-bikie squad arrested the man, 24, at Mount Druitt following a lengthy investigation into the alleged assault on King Georges Road, Beverly Hills, on October 25.
Police were told a male driver was approached by an unknown male driver, who stopped his car in traffic before he threatened and punched him.
"As part of their inquiries, Strike Force Raptor identified the registered address for the vehicle involved in the incident had been changed twice in one day in September 2017," police said in a statement.
"Police will allege in court that the address was changed to a false rural address, and back again, as part of a short price premium fraud."
The man was arrested about 6am Thursday.
