A Taiwanese man caught speeding twice in one day has had his licence suspended for six months.
The 27-year-old was allegedly nabbed going 170km/h on the Hume Highway at Mittagong on Sunday.
A check by NSW Police revealed he had already received two infringements earlier the same day for exceeding the speed limit by more than 20km/h and not carrying a licence.
He was issued an additional infringement for exceeding speed by more than 45km/h and has had his licence suspended.
Sunday marked day three of NSW Police's #Five2Arrive campaign. On that day alone there were 20 people injured in 48 major crashes, and 3,735 infringements handed out, including 1,351 for speeding.
The campaign asks people to remember five tips for arriving home safely: don't speed, don't drink and drive, wear a seatbelt, put your phone away and take regular breaks.
